DLH obtains the first ISO 14001 Certification
DLH’ subsidiary Gabonaise Industrielle des Bois (GIB) in Gabon has obtained the first ISO 14 001 environmental certification for the DLH group.
For the DLH group, the ISO 14001 certificate demonstrates not only our commitment to continually improve our environmental performance as communicated in our recently revised environmental policy. The ISO certificate also underscores DLH’s and GIB’s commitment to the welfare of its employees.

Since October 2007, GIB has worked to create and implement a formal environmental management system. The efforts have now been rewarded with an ISO 14001 environmental certification issued by the independent auditor Bureau Veritas . The environmental management system was developed with the support of the independent consultant TEREA
Pascal Vray, Director of DLH Gabon, said:
“First of all I would like to thank the staff and workers of GIB who greatly contributed to the ISO 14001 certification. This certification was only made possible because of their extraordinary dedication and it is hoped that the awareness process that took place within the company will also transpire beyond the company’s gates”.
Robert Hunink, senior vice president of DLH said:
“GIB is among the first woodworking industries in Gabon to obtain the ISO 14001 certification. This important milestone is proof of the Group’s ongoing commitment in bringing its industrial activities up to internationally recognized standards”.
What ISO 14001?
The ISO 14001 certification demonstrates:
